Children are admitted in September, at the beginning of the academic year in which they become five. We welcome visits from parents interested in sending their children to our school. Please telephone the school to make an appointment.
Applications must be made through your home Local Authority even if your choice of school is in a different county or borough.
Coming to school should be a pleasurable experience and we work with parents to make the transition from home to school as easy as possible. During the second half of the Summer Term before the child’s admission, parents are invited to visit the school, find out more about the school and discuss admission arrangements with the Headteacher and Foundation stage staff.
We also provide opportunities for children to spend time in their new class. This gives them the chance to meet their contemporaries, to get to know their new teacher and to become familiar with the school. It is our policy that the class teacher will visit the child at home prior to admission.
You will find our Admissions Policy on our 'Documents and Policies' page.
